Physical Description
Appearance
Attritti presents a striking blend of his mixed heritage, with the green skin of his orcish lineage covering a frame that bears the lithe musculature and grace of catfolk. His face combines feline features with subtle orcish traits, most noticeable in his small tusks that protrude slightly from his lower jaw. His eyes are remarkably expressive, golden green with vertical pupils that widen with his emotions. His fur is short and emerald green with darker striped patterns visible in certain light. Despite recent trauma, he carries himself with quiet dignity, though he now moves with the careful wariness of someone who has endured fresh betrayal.
Unique Characteristics
Attritti was born without vocal cords or the proper throat structure for speech, rendering him mute. His ears are more prominent than those of either parent race, with tufts of darker green fur at their tips that twitch and rotate to track sounds with remarkable precision.

Background & History
Early Street Survival
Attritti's life began in the overcrowded Lower Warrens of Kristofferson, born to a catfolk mother whose addiction consumed any maternal instinct. Abandoned as an infant, he survived through the care of Old Whiskers, a broken catfolk woman who kept him alive until he was nearly two. When she disappeared, Attritti began his true education in street survival, learning to scavenge, climb, and fight despite his small size and inability to speak. For years he lived feral, developing remarkable resilience and the ability to find sanctuary in the smallest spaces.
Imperial Ward and Lost Paradise
At age six, Emperor Elpis Basajuan discovered Attritti on Arties' recommendation and took him as a ward, bringing him to the royal flotilla above Kristofferson. For over a year, Attritti experienced safety, regular meals, education, and even began learning swordplay by observing the imperial guards. This period represented the first true stability of his young life, where he began to believe that safety and belonging were actually possible for someone like him.
The Assassination and Capture
When Emperor Elpis was assassinated and the royal flotilla destroyed, Attritti survived the crash only to be captured by opportunistic slavers. For 27 brutal days, they beat him mercilessly while searching for a buyer, attempting to break the spirit that had carried him through years of hardship. During this time, all the progress he had made in trusting adults and feeling safe was systematically destroyed through violence and captivity.
The Dragon Bond and Rescue
During his one escape attempt, Attritti discovered a small blue wyrmling dragon being brutalized by an ogre guard. Despite knowing it would bring punishment, he grabbed the dragon and held on even as the ogre broke both his legs. For 10 days, they shared a tiny cell and meager rations, forming an unbreakable bond through shared suffering. When Arties arrived disguised as a drow slave owner and bought all the slaves to free them, she found Attritti still protectively cradling the wounded wyrmling.
Recovery in Goodberry
Now residing at the Geodegazer Estate in Goodberry, Attritti is slowly healing from his recent trauma with the help of magical treatment and the friendship of Tingle Geodegazer. Though the physical wounds have healed, the emotional scars run deep, and he struggles daily with nightmares and anxiety. His bond with his dragon companion remains his greatest source of comfort, while his friendship with Tingle provides the closest thing to normal childhood he has ever experienced.
The Youngest EVER
Late in Yearend of 1303, Attritti and his brothers and sisters got an opportunity to explore a non-dangerous Mystic Realm. Things did eventually turn violent, but all of the children survived and even flourished. Coming out as the strongest performers there were Tingle and his sister, Sana. They ran around the mystic realm slaying animals and beasts until the "boss" of the zone showed up and challenged them. They fought with such tenacity and vigor that even the Heavens were impressed and granted each of them a title for being the youngest to be assigned a role by the Heavens. Attritti now carries a badge of being one of the youngest in Xeresian history to gain such a role/title... a fact he is infinitely proud of!
Defending the Homestead
In the early morning hours of Frostmoon 1, 1304 the full force of the Chromatic Council fell upon the city of Verdant Hold. Thousands died, but the Heaven's Chosen held the city and defeated the council once and for all. When Rageheart, the fierce red dragon of legend, strafed the city multiple times with his breath weapon, a hole was torn in the bubble that surrounded and protected Goodberry and thousdands of Red Draconians rushed in, aimed at the Geodegazer Estate. While most of the attackers were slain by other defenders, a trio of bloodied assailants made their way into the Goodberry Estate. Attritti and his brother, Tingle, though both children, stood their ground next to Salia and defended their home. They fought like vicious, well-trained badgers... the draconians expected only a fleshy meal, not tiny warriors, and paid the final price for their assumption. Attritti took several ghastly wounds that were later healed by his mother, Arties, but he had done it ... his family survived!
Goals & Aspirations
Protecting His Dragon Companion
Attritti's primary goal is ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the blue wyrmling who shared his captivity and suffering. Their bond, forged in the darkest circumstances, represents the most important relationship in his young life. He wants to learn how to properly care for a dragon, understand its needs, and ensure that neither of them ever experiences such helplessness again. This protective instinct has given him a sense of purpose that helps him cope with his own trauma.
Learning to Trust Again
Having experienced both the safety of the imperial court and the horror of slavery, Attritti struggles with trusting adults and believing in permanent safety. He wants to overcome the fear and suspicion that now colors his interactions with new people, particularly authority figures. His friendship with Tingle and the kindness shown by the Geodegazer family are slowly teaching him that not all adults will betray or abandon him, though this remains a daily challenge requiring patience and understanding.
Becoming Strong Enough to Protect Others
The experience of being utterly powerless during his captivity has intensified Attritti's desire to become strong enough to protect others from similar suffering. He dreams of resuming the sword training he began under the imperial guards, not for glory or adventure, but to ensure he never again has to watch helplessly while others are hurt. This goal is deeply personal and tied to his natural empathy for those who are vulnerable or mistreated.

⚠️ Trauma Warning
Attritti has endured severe recent trauma including captivity, physical abuse, and the violent loss of his guardian. While he shows remarkable resilience, he may react unpredictably to perceived threats, enclosed spaces, or separation from his dragon companion. His survival instincts remain sharp, and despite his small size, he will fight ferociously if cornered or if his loved ones are threatened. Approach with patience and allow him space to retreat if overwhelmed.
