Physical Description
Appearance
Xander is a large, sturdy toddler who runs noticeably big for his age, with the dense, solid build of a child whose giant heritage is clearly winning the argument. His hair is a thick, curly blonde, soft and wild and impossible to keep neat for more than a few minutes after any attempt to do so. His eyes are a clear, pale blue, wide and direct, and he uses them to communicate intentions that his vocabulary cannot yet fully support. He is usually barefoot by preference and by the speed with which he removes footwear. He gravitates instinctively toward heavy things, which he attempts to pick up with the focused confidence of someone who has not yet been informed that this is not how that works. He is dressed in sturdy greens and earth tones, practical clothes that can take what he puts them through, which is considerable.
Unique Characteristics
His grip strength is already remarkable, well beyond what any normal two-year-old could manage, and he applies it to everything he picks up regardless of whether it was available for picking up. He stands nearly a head taller than other children his age and is proportionally broader through the chest and shoulders, which has made the question of age-appropriate furniture an ongoing household discussion. He has his father's coloring entirely, blonde and blue-eyed with fair skin, and shows no outward drow heritage yet beyond an occasional sharpness in his features that suggests it is there, waiting. He does not walk so much as advance, with the low-center-of-gravity purpose of someone who has decided where they are going and expects the room to accommodate that.

Background & History
Birth of the Little Giant
Xander was born on Goldenleaf 10, 1304, to Arties Geodegazer-Shadowbane and Xaneborr Shadowbane. His arrival was carefully attended by healers familiar with giant bloodlines, as mixed-heritage births can present complications, but Xander arrived healthy, loud, and considerably larger than expected. From the first moments it was clear which side of his heritage was going to drive the conversation. He has his father's coloring, his father's build, and his father's complete absence of uncertainty about what he wants and whether he is going to get it. His parents named him Xander, a shortened form that honors his father's name while giving him something that is specifically his.
Growing Up Geodegazer
Xander was born into one of the largest and most varied households in all of Goodberry, with older siblings ranging from young adults to children, each with their own heritage and abilities and strong opinions. He has absorbed the general atmosphere of the estate, which is one of physical activity, purposeful noise, and an acceptance that the world is a place you engage with directly. He found the training room very early and has been visiting it with increasing frequency. Nobody taught him to do this. He simply arrived there one day, looked around with evident approval, and began touching things.
A Boy After His Father's Heart
Xaneborr has been observed watching Xander navigate the training room with an expression that his household has learned to identify as deep paternal satisfaction. The boy does not yet have the coordination or the vocabulary to do much with the equipment, but he has the instinct for it, the unself-conscious pleasure in weight and resistance and the simple satisfaction of moving something heavy from one place to another. He follows his father around the estate with the devoted attention of a small, extremely solid shadow, and Xaneborr accommodates this with a patience that surprises people who know him primarily by reputation. Xander does not yet understand what his father is, what his family represents, or what will eventually be asked of him. He understands that Papa is the biggest, and that the big things are interesting, and that both of these facts point in the same direction.
Goals
To Lift That
There is always a specific thing. It changes, because he encounters new things regularly, but the goal itself is constant: there is something heavy nearby and he is going to pick it up. This is not ambition in any sophisticated sense. It is something more fundamental, a direct line between what he sees and what he does, unmediated by doubt or prior experience of failure. He has been stopped a number of times. He has not internalized this as a reason to stop trying. He has internalized it as information about what he needs to get stronger.
To Keep Up With Papa
Xander follows Xaneborr with a consistency that reads, even at two years old, as something more than attachment. He watches what his father does. He watches how he moves, how he lifts, how he carries himself through a room. He then attempts, with varying success and considerable enthusiasm, to do the same things. He cannot yet do any of them. He does not appear to consider this a permanent state of affairs.
Growing Into His Heritage
Xander does not yet understand what it means to be the son of the Queen of Goodberry and Xaneborr Shadowbane, to carry two powerful bloodlines in a body that is already outpacing the standard timeline for both. That understanding will come in time. What he has now is the foundation of it: the physical confidence, the instinct toward strength, and the uncomplicated certainty of a child who has never once been made to feel unwelcome in any room he has walked into. The household he was born into has given him that. Everything else will follow.

🏋️ Development Notice
Xander is two years old and already stands 3'4", with grip strength and physical density that have surprised every healer who has assessed him. His giant heritage is advancing his physical development significantly faster than his emotional and cognitive growth, which means the household is managing a child with the enthusiasm and judgment of a toddler and the early physical profile of something considerably larger. He will reach an estimated adult height of around seven and a half feet. He has already located the training room and considers it his. Those responsible for his care should be prepared for this trajectory to continue in the same direction, only larger and faster.
