Bloodline Ability
Shared Weight
This bloodline grants Eden an empathy so profound it has long since outgrown the merely human. By fixing her gaze upon a person with intent, she can read their emotional state with complete clarity, not as an impression or a guess, but as lived experience. In that moment, she does not simply understand what someone is feeling. She feels it herself, with the same rawness and weight as the person who carries it. Should she choose, Eden can reach further still, drawing half of that emotional burden across the space between them and into herself, leaving the other person genuinely, measurably lighter. This is not comfort offered through words or presence, but a true halving of the load. For those consumed by grief, rage, or despair so severe it overwhelms them, she can ease their state by a degree or two, walking them back from the edge through nothing more than her will and her willingness to bear it alongside them.
Physical Description
Appearance
Eden has grown into a striking young woman whose gold dragon heritage lends her an effortless, luminous beauty that turns heads without her trying. Her hair is long and golden-blonde, falling in soft waves past her shoulders, and she wears it loose without exception — it suits her, and she knows it. Her eyes are a clear, vivid green with warm gold flecks that catch the light, and her complexion is fair and rosy with a faint dusting of freckles across her nose and cheeks. She has an easy, open smile and a relaxed way of carrying herself that makes her approachable, though there is something quietly self-assured about her that suggests she has long since stopped measuring herself by anyone else's expectations.
Unique Characteristics
Her skin takes on subtle golden warmth in direct sunlight, becoming almost luminescent during the long sunbathing sessions she still loves. The gold in her eyes is most visible in low or warm light, shifting and catching illumination in ways that no purely human iris would. She retains her absolute aversion to having her hair tied or restrained in any way — the instinct is deep-seated and involuntary, and she has stopped trying to explain it. She tends to dress with a natural elegance, favouring soft colours and flowing silhouettes, and somehow manages to look put-together even when she is not trying to.

Background & History
First Life as a Rebel Warrior
In the first cycle of reality, long ago in a war-torn world, Eden was born as the first child of General Artisia, the fierce leader of rebel forces fighting against the tyrannical Chromatic Council, and her lover Yaz, a powerful golden dragon who served as co-leader of the rebellion. Eden grew up surrounded by the constant struggle for freedom, learning the ways of war and resistance from her earliest days among the rebel camps and strongholds. When she came of age, she chose to join the fight directly, standing side-by-side with her mother in battles that would determine the fate of their world. Her life as a warrior was cut tragically short when the rebel forces were betrayed from within and attacked while they rested, with Yaz away on a crucial mission and unable to defend them. Eden was impaled through the back, the weapon nicking her heart and delivering a mortal wound that would end her first life.
A Soul Bound to Steel
With her dying breath and the last of her strength, Eden made a desperate choice that would define her existence for centuries to come, willing her soul into her mother's blade in the hope that its power could guide Arties to eventual victory against their enemies. Unfortunately, this sacrifice came too late to save the rebellion, as Arties and her most elite generals were captured, tortured, and imprisoned in a deep mine to rot for what seemed like all eternity. For nearly a thousand years, Eden's soul remained trapped within the sword, conscious but powerless, experiencing the world only through the weapon that housed her essence. In the second cycle, when hope seemed lost once again, the blade containing her soul was given to Alexis to be used in a desperate ritual to summon divine intervention, but instead of achieving victory, Eden's soul was finally freed and sent to the Beastlands to await her mother's eventual arrival, a reunion that would never come to pass.
Rebirth and the Price of Childhood
In the current and final cycle, Eden was freed by her father and given the choice to live with her mother once again, an opportunity she embraced without hesitation despite the complex circumstances of their reunion. Since Arties already had other children in her care and Eden's sudden appearance needed to seem natural, she made the difficult decision to take on the appearance of a nine-year-old child to avoid suspicion from the outside world. However, this transformation came with an unexpected and devastating side effect that none of them had anticipated. Day by day, Eden began losing access to her long-term memories and experiences, watching helplessly as centuries of knowledge and identity slowly faded away until she woke one morning with none of her past remaining accessible to her conscious mind, having fully converted to the child's mentality she had adopted as a disguise.
Finding Peace in a New Family
Thanks to Arties' wisdom in communicating Eden's unique situation to the other adults in the estate, Eden has been given the precious gift of freedom to discover who she truly is without the pressure of living up to expectations based on who she once was. In the years since joining her new family, she has found that she genuinely loves being here — loves her sisters, loves the noise and warmth of a full household, loves having people to protect. Tingle and Madrov remain reliably entertaining company for anything physical, while Eden herself gravitates toward quieter joys: long afternoons in the sun, time with her animals, and the simple satisfaction of being somewhere she belongs. Her pets Cloudfoot, Auriel, and Sunshine have been steady companions throughout her journey of self-discovery, offering the kind of uncomplicated affection that never asks anything difficult of her.
Growing Family and Joyful Anticipation
When Arties became pregnant with the soul of the girl known as Celeste from the previous cycle, Eden listened with fascination to the stories of Celeste's accomplishments and character, building excitement about meeting this new blood sister who would soon join their family. Her enthusiasm was further amplified by the arrival of Elodie, who has grown into a delightful nearly two-year-old toddler who brings additional joy and energy to their household dynamics. The family continued to expand when Arties gave birth to twins, adding even more love and complexity to the Geodegazer household that Eden treasures so deeply. These growing family connections have provided Eden with stability and purpose, helping her build a new identity rooted in love and belonging rather than the warrior's path that defined her previous existence.
The Devastating News and Draconic Rage
In Goldenleaf 1303, Eden's peaceful new life was shattered when she learned that her father, the Emperor of Xeres, had been killed by assassins, news that triggered the most traumatic emotional experience of her current existence. The devastating information caused Eden to have a complete emotional breakdown where she gave in to the draconic rage that had been suppressed beneath her childlike exterior, involuntarily transforming into her true dragon form for the first time since taking on human appearance. In her fury and grief, she nearly killed her brother Tingle when he tried to get in her way as she attempted to storm out and find her father's body, but when the entire family stood protectively next to Tingle, Eden's mind finally broke under the weight of her conflicting emotions. She shifted back to her human form and collapsed into a catatonic state that lasted for several days while she processed the overwhelming grief and guilt from her actions.
Healing and Preserving Memory
It took weeks of careful attention from her family and gradual emotional healing before Eden was able to return to anything resembling her normal behavior, and even now she thinks about her father often, carrying the weight of loss that has added new depth to her previously carefree existence. In a touching effort to ensure that his memory and legacy won't be completely lost, Eden has been painstakingly writing down everything she can remember about her father in a special book, documenting the fragments of memories she still possesses about their relationship and his character. This project has become both a healing process for her own grief and a gift of love for her younger sister Elodie, whom she plans to share the book with when she's old enough to understand the significance of learning about the father she will never have the chance to meet in person.
The Youngest EVER
Late in Yearend of 1303, Eden and her brothers and sisters got an opportunity to explore a non-dangerous Mystic Realm. Things did eventually turn violent, but all of the children survived and even flourished. Coming out as the strongest performers there were Tingle and their sister, Sana. They ran around the mystic realm slaying animals and beasts until the "boss" of the zone showed up and challenged them. They fought with such tenacity and vigor that even the Heavens were impressed and granted each of them a title for being the youngest to be assigned a role by the Heavens. Eden now carries the badge of being the Cleric in Xeresian history to gain such a role/title... a fact she is infinitely proud of!
Falling.
In the early morning hours of Frostmoon 1, 1304 the full force of the Chromatic Council fell upon the city of Verdant Hold. Thousands died, but the Heaven's Chosen held the city and defeated the council once and for all. In that battle, Eden and her adopted brother, Madrov, manned the dwarven fortress of Duraz-Khul in order to use its massive new Thundercoil, a magical energy weapon. As the combat began, Eden sat at the gunner's station and blasted Maz'Katara, an infamous and cruel red dragon, out of the air. Seeing the destructive force of the blast, the remaining dragons teamed up to take the fortress down. Rageheart, the most powerful dragon in Xeres, tore a hole to the mechanical heart of the fortress and breathed flame into it. As the fortress fell from the sky, Eden grabbed her unconscious brother and turned into her dragon form before leaping off the building. During her flight, her wing was damaged by a vicious white dragon and she plummeted to the ground. She and her brother survived, but only just barely.
The First World Games
When King Xaneborr announced the first World Games, Eden entered with the same straightforward confidence she brings to most things; she wanted to compete, she wanted to do her best, and she was not particularly interested in what anyone thought about either of those decisions. She came home with four medals. Gold in Girls Boxing, a result that surprised people who did not know her. A silver in Girls Magical Healing, earned through a combination of genuine skill and the instinctive attunement to others that her bloodline provides. A silver in Girls Horse Racing, which she ran on Sunshine and which was probably Sunshine's proudest day as much as hers. And a bronze in Girls Hoplite Endurance, an obstacle course run in full platemail armour, which she finished with her jaw set and not a word of complaint.
She did not top the overall standings among her siblings. She is perfectly aware of this. She is also perfectly unbothered by it. Four medals, four events, all of them earned... that is a fact, and facts do not require anyone else's validation to remain true. She wore her medals to dinner that evening and accepted every congratulation with an easy smile, because she knew exactly how much each one had cost her, and she was proud.

Goals
Preserving Her Father's Memory for Elodie
Eden's most important current project is completing the book she's writing about her father, documenting every memory, story, and detail about his character that she can recall before time and her fragmented memory cause her to lose these precious recollections forever. This labor of love represents both her own healing process and her deep desire to ensure that Elodie will have some connection to the father she'll never meet in person. She wants to create something meaningful that will help her younger sister understand not just who their father was, but also the love he had for his family and the legacy he hoped to leave behind. The book has become a sacred responsibility for Eden, requiring her to carefully balance sharing happy memories while being age-appropriate about the tragic circumstances of his death.
Being the Best Big Sister She Can Be
Having experienced the joy of a real family after centuries of loss and separation, Eden is determined to be the kind of big sister she would have wanted. She wants to be present for the younger ones, protective when it matters, lighthearted when it doesn't, and honest when they need it. Her goal is not to be perfect but to be reliable: the sister they know will always show up. She is particularly mindful of Elodie and the twins, as she carries a quiet personal commitment to making sure they always feel the warmth of the family around them.
Learning to Control Her Draconic Nature
The traumatic episode triggered by news of her father's death has made Eden acutely aware that she needs to develop better control over the draconic rage and power that lies beneath her human facade. She wants to learn how to process intense emotions without losing control and potentially harming the people she loves most, understanding that her true nature as a gold dragon comes with responsibilities and dangers that she must learn to manage. This includes finding healthy ways to honor both her human relationships and her draconic heritage, perhaps eventually learning to transform voluntarily and safely rather than only during moments of extreme emotional distress. Her ultimate goal is to become someone who can protect her family using her powers rather than someone whose powers threaten the very people she wants to keep safe.

🐉 Hidden Dragon Warning
Eden presents as a warm, self-assured young woman with a love of sunshine, animals, and her family. She is all of those things. She is also a gold dragon whose true nature remains mostly dormant beneath a human form — and events have demonstrated that extreme emotional trauma can bring that nature violently to the surface. Her centuries of experience as a warrior in a previous life may resurface during such episodes, creating a dangerous combination of seasoned combat instinct and uncontrolled draconic power. Those who threaten her family would do well to remember that the girl smiling in the sun has already lived a dozen lifetimes, died, and come back. She is not someone to underestimate.
