Several months after the battle of Verdant Hold, where the Souther Coalition arose as the victor, Thesskai gave birth to her first son, Ma'Shrai, on Goldenleaf 11 of 1304. Her new mate, a soldier from the Green Draconian Legion forces of Goodberry, opted to stay with her and leave the army. Tronnisar, a reputable spear fighter, married her and settled a household together in Ssi'Kor.
