Grade System
Weapons
Each grade of weapon offers increasing combat benefits:

Note: you must be the same grade or higher of any weapon you want to wield. Otherwise you can only hold it.

Slotting Requirements
- Uninterrupted meditation state
- No need for food or water
- Complete physical helplessness
- Safe location required
- Cannot be rushed or shortened

Note: Gems only gain experience when they consume another gem that has the same base cost as themselves.
System Limitations
Slotting Rules
- Gem grade must match or be lower than item grade
- Only one gem of each specific property allowed per item
- Cannot gain same specific bonus more than once
- Interruption ruins entire process
- Must start over if interrupted
- No more than 9 gems equipped at any time

Each grade of material used in weapon crafting has increasing physical properties:
