They feel a natural kinship with humans, dwarves, and halflings, while often finding elves aloof and catfolk… exhausting. All Fenric characters also can choose 3 of the following abilities. If multiple abilities affect an attribute or skill, only the highest bonus is applicable.
- Dogged Survivor: When reduced below 0 HP but not killed, you may remain conscious for 1 additional round. You are still considered dying, but can act normally during that round.
- Iron Gut: Gain a +2 bonus on Fortitude saves against poisons, disease, and spoiled food or drink.
- Low-Light Vision: Gain the ability to see twice as far as normal in dim light.
- Loyalty: Gain a +2 bonus on Sense Motive checks.
- Pack Bond: When adjacent to an ally, gain +1 to AC and morale bonus to saves against fear and charm effects.
- Protect the Pack: Once per day, when an adjacent ally is targeted by an attack, you may take the hit instead as an immediate action. You become the new target and resolve the attack as normal.
- Strong Bite: Gain a natural bite attack (1d4 damage). It is considered a primary natural attack.
- Sniff it Out: Gain the Scent ability. You can identify familiar allies or enemies by scent with a successful Perception check (DC 10 + CR of creature).
