Physical Description
Ysoria is two hundred and eighty-four, and she looks like a woman in her late twenties. Her D-grade nature has left her almost untouched by age, while the luminous markings across her skin have grown brighter with every century. Her skin is a pale, cool lavender-blue, and the markings run over nearly all of it in glowing pale-blue swirls and spirals: across her cheeks and brow, down her shoulders and arms, and over her stomach. Her hair is a vast, wild mane of platinum curls that never quite stops moving, even when there is no wind, and her eyes are a clear, pale blue. She dresses for movement: a sleeveless black top, fitted black trousers, black wraps from wrist to elbow, a black band on one upper arm, and a loose net of knotted gold cord slung around her hips. Around her neck and shoulders, always, is a long red scarf with a frayed hem. She carries a straight longsword with an engraved silver crossguard and a blue stone set in the pommel.
Ysoria's markings glow faintly all the time, and brighter when she is excited or frightened, which she seldom admits to being. When she draws her sword seriously, they flare a brilliant blue and the air around her begins to whistle. The red scarf is deliberate. In her words: "If I am going to move that fast, people deserve at least one chance to see me coming." She is competitive, intensely self-controlled, and the owner of a very dry sense of humor that tends to surface at the worst possible moment. She also has an almost compulsive habit of correcting other people's stance, balance, and footwork, whether or not they asked.
