Bloodline Ability
This Bloodline ability has not yet been unveiled to you.
Physical Description
Seris is 5'6" with deep ember-red skin and hair to match, a pair of ridged curling horns swept back from her brow, and pointed ears that catch every stray sound in a room out of a habit she's never been able to fully switch off. She moves the way trained dancers move even when she isn't dancing, weight centered, spine long, nothing wasted, and she dresses in warm golds and deep reds that read as festival finery from Liltaz rather than anything practical for Rokoura's beaches, a wardrobe she hasn't quite worked out how to update yet. Her face in public is extraordinary: warm, open, immediately likable, an expression she can hold for hours without it ever once looking like effort.
Seris counts exits in every room she enters before she's finished saying hello, a habit so old she no longer notices herself doing it. She can hold a warm, animated conversation with a stranger for an hour without a single flicker of strain showing, and then vanish completely for a day or more afterward, telling anyone who asks that she's resting her feet. Very few people have seen what that recovery actually looks like: someone gone entirely still and silent, curtains drawn, for as long as it takes to feel like a person again rather than a performance.
Personality & Temperament
- Reads a room's mood before she's even fully in it
- Unfailingly graceful under real pressure
- Fiercely protective of the few she's let close
- Disciplined and meticulous in absolutely everything
- Genuinely warm when the mask finally comes off
- Vanishes completely for days after real socializing
- Trusts her training over her own instincts, still
- Struggles to tell performed warmth from real warmth
- Keeps at least one exit memorized in every room
- Cannot fully explain the silence when it hits her
Everyone loves the woman who smiles at the festival. Nobody asks where she goes after.
I was very good at my old work. I would like, very much, to forget how good.
Dancing was the first lie anyone taught me to tell beautifully. I'm trying to make it true again.
