Osmund Khevari
Basic Information
Bloodline Ability
This Bloodline ability has not yet been unveiled to you.
Physical Description
Osmund appears to be in his early forties. The gray in his beard is real, but E-grade longevity means he has looked much the same for decades. He is a tall, broad-shouldered man with sun-browned skin, heavy dark brows, a strong nose, and light brown eyes that are usually fixed on something a little past whoever is speaking. His black hair is drawn back into a knot at the back of his head, with one loose curl left to fall over his forehead and a wide streak of silver sweeping back from the temple. His beard is long, full, and dark shot through with gray, and its ends are gathered into narrow braids, each one capped with a small gold bead. His mustache is another matter: waxed, curled up at both ends, and kept a bright gold. He wears a gold ring in his ear. He dresses extravagantly, in a cuirass of gold scales worked like overlapping leaves, a broad engraved gold collar, and heavy gold shoulder pieces cast in the shape of a beast's face, with a long slate-blue mantle draped over all of it.
Osmund carries himself like a noble despite possessing no title, and he sees no reason to correct anyone who assumes otherwise. He is confident, measured, and almost impossible to pressure into making a quick decision. His habit of silently calculating while someone speaks can be deeply unnerving: he goes still, his eyes drift, and it becomes plain that the conversation is being costed. He does not hurry, he does not raise his voice, and he has never been seen to fidget.

A man who corners the grain and waits for winter has not built a market. He has taken a hostage. Parasites, all of them. Parasites clever enough to own ledgers.
