Nyrella Veilsight
Basic Information
Bloodline Ability
This Bloodline ability has not yet been unveiled to you.
Physical Description
Nyrella is 5'7" with hair the color of old silver, worn in two thick braids that frame a face marked with fine dark script and set jewels along her brow, one small mark added for every vision precise enough to be sure of. Her eyes are a pale, striking blue that seem to focus slightly past whoever she's looking at, a side effect of a gaze that has spent a lifetime catching flickers of things not quite in the room yet. She dresses simply in black, unadorned except for the choker and single dark pendant she never removes, a deliberate contrast to Mistholm's constantly shifting fashions that she's cultivated on purpose: everything about her presentation says fixed, certain, unchanging, in a city built on the opposite.
Nyrella will occasionally go still mid-conversation, eyes unfocusing for a second or two, and resume exactly where she left off as though nothing happened, though anyone watching closely will notice the flicker. She sometimes references things that haven't happened yet as though they already have, catching herself and correcting the tense a beat too late to fully hide it. As a Samsaran, she carries the usual fragments of past lives most of her people report, faces she half-recognizes, skills she shouldn't have, but hers come tangled with something else entirely: flashes that don't point backward.

Everyone else in this city sells you a beautiful lie. I only have the one problem: mine keep coming true.
I don't see your future. I've never once managed that. I only ever see mine, in pieces, out of order, and mostly unhelpful.
I remember dying twice already, in other lives. Neither memory frightens me half as much as the version of me I haven't become yet.
