Basic Information
Bloodline Ability
This Bloodline ability has not yet been unveiled to you.
Physical Description
Nymera stands just under five and a half feet tall, though the exact number is approximate in the way that measurements of objects without fixed edges tend to be. Her body is translucent lavender, not the translucency of thin cloth or clear glass but the deep, luminous translucency of polished amethyst held up to afternoon sun. Tiny bubbles drift lazily through the interior of her form, rising and settling with no particular urgency, and her every movement sends slow ripples through her body rather than the ordinary shifting of muscle beneath skin. She has made her peace with the fact that this is the first thing strangers look at.
Her hair is long and lilac and always appears wet, not with water but with the same glossy substance that makes up the rest of her. Individual strands stretch when pulled and spring back with patience that seems almost deliberate. She stopped trying to style it into something that looks less conspicuously like liquid sometime in her second year on Xeres. It looks like what it is, and she has decided that is fine. Occasionally a tiny droplet falls from her elbow, bounces once on the nearest surface, and then flows silently back into her foot as though gravity thought it over and changed its mind. She does not notice anymore. Children find it endlessly entertaining, and she is always genuinely pleased when they do.
She wears clothing that has been enchanted to resist moisture absorption and to conform comfortably to a body that is not, in the traditional sense, solid. A small amethyst pendant hangs at her throat, bought from a market stall in her second month on Xeres. It catches light exactly the way she does, which she noticed immediately and found very funny.
Personality & Temperament
Nymera possesses a quality of warmth that people often struggle to articulate after meeting her. She remembers names. She remembers what someone mentioned about their family two visits ago. She is genuinely interested in what people are doing and how they are feeling, and she has a quality of attention that makes people feel heard in a way they were not expecting from an apothecary visit. Most people who arrive intending to buy something end up staying half an hour just talking, and they leave in a better mood than they entered.
