At regular intervals, the wall features sturdy platforms accessible by interior ladders, allowing guards to patrol along the ramparts and maintain watchful vigilance over the surrounding tidal flats.
What truly sets these walls apart are the magnificent guardian figures carved into select posts throughout the palisade. The main gate is a double-door construction reinforced with iron bands, featuring a heavy crossbeam that can be quickly dropped into place during emergencies.
